About Me
Hi there 😄! I'm Hao Tang, currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre of Smart Health at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where I work closely with Prof. Jing Qin.
Before joining PolyU, I earned my Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2024, supervised by Prof. Jinhui Tang (IAPR Fellow) and co-supervised by Prof. Zechao Li.
From 2022 to 2024, I completed two significant visiting research periods: one at Singapore Management University with Prof. Shengfeng He,
and another at Singapore University of Technology and Design with Prof. Jun Liu.
My primary research interests mainly focus on data-efficient learning and its applications in Computer Vision and Multimedia. The ultimate goal of my research is to develop machines that can learn from Limited, Dynamic, and Imperfect data in real-world scenes like humans.
